Yateley East 2018

Satdeep Grewal for Yateley East

“For years we have seen drastic cuts to our local services that have hit everyone hard, especially if on a low income. Meanwhile, government spending continues to rise. I will fight for Yateley’s most vital services in these hard times.”

Satdeep is smiling into the camera. She is in front of a waterfall, wearing a yellow waterproof.

Satdeep grew up in NE Hampshire. Currently, she advises an organisation which strives to end violence against women and girls internationally, and works for a company that improves the charity sector.

Influential roles in both a local authority and a national debt advice charity have honed her professional expertise on factors influencing poverty and deprivation.

Having worked tirelessly to support some of the most disadvantaged families in the UK, she notes the worrying rise in the number of people in difficulty since the introduction of austerity. Satdeep is passionate about devoting her time and wide-ranging experience to the aid of others who may be struggling.
